Who this is for in Land Park.

The businesses ordering banners in Land Park cluster into a few recognizable groups. Schools, boosters and youth sport, events, venues and community organizations, restaurants, cafes and food business chief among them.

Event and fundraiser signage is the backbone. Banners at $6 per square foot for park events and school seasons, yard signs for teams and drives, and rigid signage for anything living outdoors for a full season.

William Land Park, the zoo, Fairytale Town and the surrounding fields put a steady calendar of family events, school fundraisers, sports seasons, and community days on the ground, while the Broadway corridor and the Tower District hold up the commercial side with restaurants, theaters, and long-standing independent shops.

School and booster banners (fundraisers, senior nights, field sponsors, registration drives) run on a calendar that repeats every year, so the artwork stays on file.

Event and venue banners are the bulk of it: entrance signage, sponsor walls, stage backdrops, and directional banners for anything with a gate.

Restaurants use banners for openings, patio seasons, new hours and delivery announcements: the things that change faster than a permanent sign can keep up with.

What it costs.

Vinyl banners are posted at $6 per square foot, hemmed and grommeted: the finishing is in the price, not added afterwards.

Multiply width by height in feet: a 2×4 is $48, a 3×6 is $108, a 3×8 is $144, a 4×10 is $240.

What’s quoted separately rather than posted: installation, special finishing, and design time if we’re building the artwork from scratch instead of printing a file you already have. You’ll get those numbers before we start, never after. See the posted list.

How we make them.

A banner has about three seconds of somebody’s attention and room for three things: who you are, what the message is, and one way to act on it. Everything else you’re tempted to add makes those three smaller. If your banner has a paragraph on it, it’s a poster that got too big.

Never staple a banner through the middle of the material: the first gust tears it from the staple. Tie through the grommets, and if it’s hanging from a pole rather than tied, ask for pole pockets instead. Different construction, same principle: attach to the finishing, not to the print.

Getting banners from Land Park.

About eight miles from Fulton Ave, generally down the Capital City Freeway and across toward Broadway or Freeport Boulevard. Land Park customers usually pair the pickup with something else on the way. It’s a straight enough route that a same-day order beats waiting a day.

Most banners ordered before 10:00 AM Monday to Friday are finished the same afternoon. If the drive is the awkward part rather than the deadline, ask about delivery when you place the order. It’s available on many jobs, though for a genuinely same-day deadline collecting at the counter is still fastest.

Questions we get from Land Park.

Can you print a banner from a photo I took?

Sometimes. It depends on resolution. Aim for around 300 dpi at the printed size; a phone photo often has enough for a modest banner and nowhere near enough for a 4×10. Send it and we’ll tell you honestly before it prints rather than after.

Do you do double-sided banners?

Yes, and they’re worth it when the banner hangs free where people pass on both sides. Against a wall or a fence, one side is all anyone will ever see.

How far is the shop from Land Park?

About 8 miles. We’re at 1835 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with parking in front and more in the rear.

What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?

Then describe the problem rather than the product. Where it’s going, how long it needs to last, and when you need it. That’s enough for us to tell you which material and size actually solves it, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.
