REPEAT CUSTOMERS
Your art is on file. Go.
If we printed it once, it takes one message to print it again. Same file, same colors, same size. Tell us who you are and what you ordered, and we’ll confirm the posted price and a pickup time, usually within the hour on business days. In by 10 AM, most reorders are out by 5 the same day.
How a reorder works.
Reorder
What we keep, and why it matters
The first order with a print shop is a project. The second one shouldn’t be. Once we’ve run a job for you, the artwork stays on record here. Layout, fonts, colors, sizes, the material it was printed on, and the finishing it got. That means a reorder is a quantity and a date, not a design conversation.
It matters most for the things that repeat on a schedule: menus that change with the season, business cards that run out at the worst possible moment, carbonless forms, appointment cards, real estate riders, crew shirts as people come and go, and the yard signs that come back around every election or graduation. None of those should require re-explaining what you ordered last time.
It also matters when the person who ordered last time has left. Plenty of reorders start with someone new saying “I think we got these from you, they look like this” and a photo. That’s enough. We can find it.
What to tell us
Four things get a reorder moving with no back-and-forth: what it was (as close as you can. “the 18×24 site signs” beats “the signs”), roughly when you last ordered it, how many you want this time, and when you need it. If any of those are fuzzy, send a photo of the piece instead and we’ll take it from there.
If something needs to change (a new phone number, a different quantity, one word swapped, a color corrected) say so, and you’ll get a fresh free proof to approve before anything runs. Changes on a reorder are normal and don’t restart the process.
Timing on a reorder
The same clock applies: in by 10:00 AM Monday to Friday and most standard reorders are ready that afternoon. Because the file already exists and nothing needs designing, reorders are actually the most reliable same-day work in the building.
The exceptions are the same as always. Laminated menus, vehicle work, anything installed, and very large runs need a real timeline rather than an afternoon. Ask when you place it and you’ll get a date you can plan around.
If you reorder often enough that this is a monthly conversation, a business account is the version of this with the paperwork removed: artwork on file, priority in the queue, and one monthly invoice instead of a receipt every visit.
Questions we get asked.
I don’t know what I ordered last time. Can you still find it?
Usually, yes. Give us the business name and roughly when, and if you have the piece, send a photo. That’s often faster than any description. Files are kept on record specifically so this isn’t your problem to solve.
Can I change something on a reorder?
Yes, and it’s common. New phone number, updated hours, a different quantity, one line of text. Tell us what changes and you’ll get a fresh free proof before anything prints. There’s no penalty for changing something.
Is a reorder cheaper than the first order?
The posted price is the posted price. Banners $6 per square foot, coroplast $9, 500 business cards $58, so the per-piece rate doesn’t change. What you save is the setup and the design time, and larger quantities price better per piece than small ones. If you’re increasing the run, ask for the volume rate rather than multiplying.
