What the sq-ft prices mean.
Sign pricing is by the square foot of finished sign. A 3×6 ft vinyl banner is 18 sq ft × $6 = $108. An 18×24 in coroplast yard sign is 3 sq ft × $9 = $27. A 4×8 ft aluminum composite job-site sign is 32 sq ft × $13.50 = $432. In plain terms: coroplast is the corrugated plastic yard signs are made of; foam board is for indoor displays; PVC is a rigid outdoor board; aluminum composite is the premium panel real-estate and building signs use.
How to read this list
Signs are priced by the square foot: width in feet times height in feet times the rate. A 3×6 banner is 18 square feet at $6, so $108. A 3×8 is $144. An 18×24 inch yard sign is 3 square feet at the coroplast rate of $9, so about $27 each. A 24×36 inch aluminum listing panel is 6 square feet at $13.50, so $81.
Printing is priced by the run: 500 business cards $58, 1,000 for $78; 500 glossy flyers $165, 1,000 for $215; 500 4×6 postcards $125, 1,000 for $170. Notice the shape. Doubling the quantity costs far less than double, which is the argument for ordering the run you’ll actually use.
Apparel is priced per piece: shirts $15 for a front or back print, $20 for both sides, crewnecks and hoodies as listed. Pressed here, usually while you wait.
What’s included, and what isn’t
Included: hemming and grommeting on banners, and a free proof on everything before anything runs. That last one isn’t a line item anywhere. You approve what you’re getting before you pay for it.
Separate, and inexpensive: stakes for yard signs, mounting hardware, and special finishing like pole pockets, lamination, mesh for windy sites or contour cutting. Ask for them when you order rather than discovering you need them later.
Quoted separately: installation, vehicle application, building and monument sign fabrication, and design time if we’re building your artwork from scratch rather than printing a file you have. Booklets, magazines and mailing work are quoted on quantity, page count and finishing.
Volume changes the number
The posted list is the single-order rate. Real runs price better per piece. Campaigns ordering hundreds of yard signs, schools ordering senior banners, brokerages ordering rider sets, contractors ordering shirts for a crew.
So if you’re ordering in quantity, don’t multiply the retail number and budget from that. Call with the actual quantity and you’ll get the run rate. That is the entire reason to call.
Why we publish this at all
Most shops in this market don’t. Hidden pricing has an obvious use: it lets a shop read how urgent you sound before naming a number. Posting the list removes that option, which is the point: the customer calling in a panic on Thursday afternoon gets the same rate as the one who planned three weeks out.
It also saves you a morning. If you just need to know roughly what a banner costs, you shouldn’t have to call four businesses to find out. Multiply your size by $6 and you have it, or use the calculator.
Prices are current as of the date noted on this page. If something has moved, the number you’re quoted on the phone is the real one, and we’ll tell you why.
Questions we get asked.
Are these prices real, or a starting point?
Real. They’re the numbers you’ll be quoted on the phone for standard work with print-ready art. Volume moves them down; special finishing, installation and design time are quoted on top and always before we start.
Do you price-match other Sacramento shops?
Bring the written quote and we’ll look at it honestly. Sometimes we’re already lower. Sometimes the other quote is for a thinner material or excludes hems and grommets, and we’ll show you the difference rather than just matching a number that isn’t for the same thing.
Is there a rush charge?
No. Same-day on standard work at the posted price is how we normally operate, in by 10:00 AM Monday to Friday, out by 5. If a job genuinely requires displacing other work, we’ll quote it before we start rather than adding it afterwards.
What’s not on this list?
Anything quoted on specifics rather than a rate: installation, vehicle application, building and monument signs, booklets and magazines, mailing services, and design time. Call with the details and you’ll get a straight number, usually on the same call.
