The fastest route, by situation
If the deadline is today. Call. (916) 944-7195 reaches a printer who can see the queue and tell you in about thirty seconds whether today is realistic. An email sent at 9:50 AM asking whether same-day is possible has already spent most of the margin on the asking.
If you have a file and a size. Use the form. Attach the artwork, tell us the size, quantity and date, and you’ll get the posted price and a free proof back, usually within the hour on business days.
If you’re not sure what you need. Walk in. 1835 Fulton Ave, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Plenty of orders start with somebody describing the problem across the counter and us telling them which material solves it.
What to have ready
You don’t need any of this to start a conversation, but having it makes the conversation one round instead of three: the finished size (measure the space, don’t estimate), the quantity, the date you need it, and the artwork if it exists: a print-ready PDF is ideal, but AI, EPS, PSD, and high-resolution PNG or JPG all work.
No artwork at all is a completely normal starting point. Bring the words, a logo, a photo of the old sign, or a sketch, and the design desk builds print-ready art from it. Nothing prints until you approve a free proof.
Finding us, and parking
The shop is at 1835 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825, in Arden-Arcade: the stretch of Fulton where several sign companies ended up next to each other. There’s parking in front and more parking in the rear when the front fills up. No meter, no app, no permit zone.
We’re open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed weekends. The same-day cutoff is 10:00 AM, which means if your event is on a Saturday, your real deadline is Friday morning, not Friday afternoon. That single fact catches more people than anything else on this site.
What happens after you send the form
A person reads it, not an auto-router. You’ll get back the posted price for what you’ve described and, where we have artwork, a free proof to approve. Nothing is printed and nothing is charged until you’ve said yes to the proof.
If something in your request doesn’t add up: a file that’s too low-resolution for the size, a material that won’t survive where you’re putting it, a deadline that isn’t achievable. We’ll tell you that in the reply rather than printing it and letting you find out.
Questions we get asked.
Do you answer the phone, or is it a queue?
A printer answers during business hours, not a call center, not a portal. It’s the fastest way to get a real answer about whether something can be done today, because the person on the phone can walk twenty feet and look at the queue.
How quickly will I hear back from the form?
Usually within the hour during business hours, Monday to Friday. Anything sent after 5:00 PM or over a weekend gets picked up the next business morning, so if the deadline is genuinely tight, call instead.
Can I email artwork that’s too big to attach?
Yes. Send a link from whatever file service you use, or bring it in on a flash drive. Large vehicle-graphic and banner files in particular tend to exceed email limits, and a link is faster than trying to compress it.
Where exactly do I park?
Front lot first; if it’s full there’s more parking in the rear of the building. It is genuinely the easiest part of the errand, which people coming from Midtown tend to appreciate.
