Pick a material, enter your size, and the posted rate does the rest. These are the same public prices the counter charges, as of July 2026. Small-job minimums can apply on very small pieces; the free proof confirms the final number before you pay anything.
How the arithmetic works
Every rigid and flexible sign material on our list is priced by the square foot, which makes the maths genuinely simple: width in feet × height in feet × the rate. A 3×8 vinyl banner is 24 square feet at $6, so $144. A 4×10 is 40 square feet, so $240. An 18×24 inch yard sign is 3 square feet at the coroplast rate of $9, so about $27.
The rates the calculator uses are the posted ones: vinyl banner $6, vinyl print and lettering $7, coroplast $9, foam board $10, PVC $11, aluminum composite $13.50. They’re the same numbers on the prices page, and the same numbers you get on the phone.
What’s already included
For banners, the posted rate includes hemming and grommeting: the finished edges and the metal rings you tie through. That’s worth knowing when you compare a number here against a quote from somewhere that lists finishing separately; a cheaper square-foot rate with hems and grommets added back on is often the more expensive banner.
For rigid materials, the rate covers the printed panel. Stakes for yard signs, mounting hardware, and installation are separate items. All inexpensive, and all worth asking for when you order rather than discovering you need them in a car park.
What the calculator can’t know
It gives you the honest ballpark for standard work, which covers most orders. What it doesn’t account for: volume, where a real run prices better per piece than the retail rate; special finishing like pole pockets, lamination, mesh for windy sites, reinforced corners, or contour cutting; installation; and design time if we’re building your artwork from scratch rather than printing a file you already have.
So use the number as a budget, not a quote. If you’re ordering fifty of something, call: the number will be better than what the calculator shows, and that’s the whole reason to call.
Sizing before you calculate
Measure the space first. The most common banner mistake isn’t the price, it’s ordering a size that doesn’t fit the railing or can’t be read from where people actually stand. Leave a few inches each side for tie-downs.
Then think about reading distance. A rough rule used in signage is about an inch of letter height per ten feet of viewing distance. More if the reader is moving. Work backwards from that and you’ll usually land one size larger than instinct suggests, which at $6 a square foot is a much smaller difference than people expect. The full sizing guide is here.

Is the calculator price the real price?
For standard work with print-ready art, yes. It’s the posted rate times your square footage, and it’s what you’ll be quoted on the phone. It doesn’t include volume discounts (which make it cheaper), special finishing, installation, or design time if we’re building the art.
Do you have a minimum size or order?
No meaningful minimum. One banner, one sign, one shirt are all normal orders. Very small pieces are still priced by the square foot, so the arithmetic holds all the way down.
Does the price change if I need it today?
No. Same-day on standard work at the posted price is how we normally operate, not an upcharge. Order by 10:00 AM Monday to Friday and most work is finished that afternoon. If a job genuinely requires pushing other work aside, we’ll say so and quote it before we start.
