Everything we sell for Oak Park is made about 7 miles away on Fulton Avenue rather than uploaded to a plant in another state. For yard signs that matters twice: it’s why same-day exists at all, and it’s why a problem gets fixed in fifteen minutes instead of becoming a support ticket.

The Oak Park buyers.

The businesses ordering yard signs in Oak Park cluster into a few recognizable groups. Retail and storefront business, restaurants, cafes and food business, churches, nonprofits and neighborhood groups chief among them.

Oak Park has been Sacramento’s first suburb, then its most disinvested neighborhood, and now a mix of both stories at once.

The Broadway and Stockton Boulevard corridors carry a lot of small independent business (food, barbershops and salons, trades, community organizations, churches) alongside the medical district anchored around the UC Davis Medical Center campus.

Retail uses them for hiring, seasonal promotions, and directional signs pointing at a business set back from the street.

Restaurants use yard signs for hiring, patio and parking direction, and for pointing traffic at a doorway that isn’t obvious from the road.

Churches, nonprofits and neighborhood associations use yard signs for events, drives and meetings: the message changes, the format doesn’t.

What it costs.

Coroplast with vinyl is posted at $9 per square foot. The standard 18×24 inch yard sign is 3 square feet, about $27 each at the retail rate, better per piece on a real run.

24×36 is 6 square feet, so about $54. Riders and small directionals cost proportionally less. Stakes are a separate, inexpensive item. Ask for them with the order.

What’s quoted separately rather than posted: installation, special finishing, and design time if we’re building the artwork from scratch instead of printing a file you already have. You’ll get those numbers before we start, never after. See the posted list.

How we make them.

The decision that costs people money is single- versus double-sided. On a corner, a median, or anywhere traffic passes both ways, a single-sided sign is invisible to half the people you paid to reach. Flat against a fence, one side is all you need.

Signs disappear. They blow over, get damaged, get borrowed, and occasionally get taken. Build a reserve into the first order rather than making a second trip in the middle of whatever you’re running.

Getting yard signs from Oak Park.

Roughly seven miles from the counter, down the Capital City Freeway and across toward Broadway, Stockton Boulevard, or Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard depending on which end of the neighborhood you’re in. The Broadway end is the quickest run.

Yard signs are among the most reliable same-day work in the building: in by 10:00 AM Monday to Friday, out that afternoon. If the drive is the awkward part rather than the deadline, ask about delivery when you place the order. It’s available on many jobs, though for a genuinely same-day deadline collecting at the counter is still fastest.

Questions we get from Oak Park.

How long will coroplast last outside?

A season comfortably; longer in shade, shorter in full west-facing sun. It’s the right material for anything temporary. If the sign is still going to be there in two years, ask about PVC at $11 per square foot or aluminum composite at $13.50 instead.

How many yard signs should I order?

Count the placements you actually have permission for, add a reserve for the ones that blow over or disappear, and order that. Ordering 500 when you have 120 committed placements means 380 in somebody’s garage. Call with your real quantity and you’ll get the run rate rather than the retail one.

How far is the shop from Oak Park?

About 7 miles. We’re at 1835 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with parking in front and more in the rear.

What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?

Then describe the problem rather than the product. Where it’s going, how long it needs to last, and when you need it. That’s enough for us to tell you which material and size actually solves it, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.
