RESTAURANTS & FOOD

Menus wear out. Your file doesn’t.

Heavily handled menus have a lifespan, and prices change faster than most shops can reprint. We keep your menu file live, so a price update or a seasonal insert is a quick edit and a same-week reprint instead of starting over. Dine-in, takeout, laminated, counter cards. All of it produced here on Fulton Ave.

The storefront works too: window vinyl and lettering at the posted $7 per square foot, banners for the patio or the grand opening at $6. When you want the neighborhood to know about the new menu, printed postcards run $125 per 500 at posted print prices, and we can talk through the every-door mailing route that fits your blocks.

Put the whole cycle on a business account: menu refresh, windows, and the occasional catering banner, one invoice, art always on file.

What restaurant printing costs

Menus are priced by the run, and the practical advice is to print more than you think for the same setup: 500 glossy flyers (the same stock many takeout menus use) are a posted $165, while 1,000 are $215. The second 500 costs $50, which is why reprinting a small batch every month is the expensive way to do it.

Window vinyl and lettering run a posted $7 per square foot: a 3×4 foot window graphic works out to $84. A 3×8 patio or grand-opening banner at $6 per square foot is $144.

Neighborhood postcards are $125 per 500 or $170 per 1,000 at posted print prices, before postage, which is its own conversation depending on whether you mail a list or blanket the routes around you.

The menu file is the asset

The thing that saves restaurants the most money isn't a discount. It's keeping the menu as a live file we can edit. A price change becomes a five-minute edit and a reprint instead of a rebuild from a PDF someone's cousin made in 2019.

If your current menu only exists as a printed copy or a flattened image, we can rebuild it once, cleanly, and then it's yours to update whenever costs move. Bring the physical menu in. That's often faster than hunting for files.

Seasonal inserts are the cheap way to change without reprinting the core menu: a small insert card refreshed quarterly beats reprinting the whole thing four times a year.

Questions we get asked.

How often should menus be reprinted?

That depends entirely on how hard they're handled and how often prices move: a laminated dine-in menu outlives a paper takeout sheet by a wide margin. The practical answer most owners land on: reprint the core menu when it's visibly worn or the prices are wrong, and use inserts in between.

Can you laminate?

Yes, and it's the right call for dine-in menus that get handled every service. Tell us how the menu will be used and we'll recommend the finish honestly. Lamination costs more up front and saves money over a year of handling.

Do you print for food trucks?

Same work, different surface. Vehicle lettering and graphics are a posted $7 per square foot, and menu boards print on rigid stock. Send photos of the truck from each side and we'll proof a layout free.
