FESTIVALS · FUNDRAISERS · TOURNAMENTS
Events are deadlines with decorations.
Every event needs the same kit and always needs it sooner than planned: a main banner, sponsor signage, directional arrows, registration table graphics, and something to photograph in front of. Banners run the posted $6 per square foot, coroplast directionals $9, and rigid signage by material.
The event kit
- Main entrance banner. Hemmed and grommeted, ready to zip-tie
- Sponsor banners: the logos your budget depends on, printed to match
- Directional and parking signs. Coroplast on stakes
- Registration and table signage. Foam board or PVC
- Step-and-repeat backdrop. Sized to your space, quoted from the square footage
Sponsor logos, handled
The usual event headache is a folder of mismatched sponsor logos at three different resolutions. Send what you have. We’ll tell you which ones will print clean and which need better files, before anything goes to press. The proof comes back free either way.
Tournament next weekend? Order by 10 AM and most of the kit can be ready by 5 the same day. Call (916) 944-7195.
What an event kit costs
The main entrance banner is usually a 3×8 or 4×10. $144 or $240 at the posted $6 per square foot. Sponsor banners are priced the same way, which makes it easy to build the sponsorship tiers around a real number.
Directional signs on coroplast at $9 per square foot are $27 for an 18×24; most events need six to a dozen. Registration and table signage on foam board at $10 per square foot is inexpensive at small sizes.
A step-and-repeat backdrop is quoted from its square footage like any other banner: an 8×8 at $6 per square foot is $384. Tell us whether you have a stand or need the finished size to fit one.
The sponsor-logo problem
Every event runs into the same wall: a folder of sponsor logos at wildly different quality, half of them pulled off websites. Send us what you have as early as you can. We'll tell you which files will print cleanly at size and which sponsors need to be asked for a better version. That request takes days, which is why it should happen before the week of the event.
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) scale to any size. Small JPGs and PNGs often don't. It's better to know in advance than to discover it on the proof.
Outdoor events add wind. Tell us where a banner is hanging and we'll talk through hems, grommets, and whether wind slits make sense for that location.
Questions we get asked.
How far ahead should we order event signage?
As soon as the sponsor list is final. That's usually the bottleneck, not the printing. Individual pieces can be same-day when ordered by 10:00 AM, but chasing a sponsor for a usable logo file can't be rushed.
Can you print a backdrop to fit our existing stand?
Yes. Measure the stand's finished graphic size, not the frame's outer dimensions, and tell us how it attaches (pockets, grommets, or hook-and-loop).
What if a sponsor changes after we print?
It happens. Depending on the layout, sometimes a small patch panel solves it and sometimes it's a reprint. We'll tell you which honestly, and the artwork on file makes the reprint straightforward.
