The part worth knowing.
The deadline that catches people: we’re closed Saturday and Sunday. For a weekend event the real cutoff is Friday at 10:00 AM, not Friday afternoon. Give yourself a day of slack if you possibly can.
Print the wayfinding first and the pretty pieces second. Nobody has ever complained that a welcome banner was too small; plenty of people have failed to find parking, registration or the restrooms.
