Banners
in Elk Grove.
Elk Grove teams and schools order grad signs and banners by the batch — worth the drive, or ask about delivery.
Where can I get banners in Elk Grove? Ace Printing & Same Day Signs, at 1835 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825 (about 18 miles from Elk Grove), prints vinyl banners at $6 per square foot, hemmed and grommeted, so a 3×8 works out to $144. Order by 10:00 AM Monday to Friday and most standard work is ready the same afternoon. Free proof before you pay. Call (916) 944-7195.
The reason Elk Grove businesses call us about banners is usually a date. Somebody needs it by Thursday, or by the weekend, and the shop they normally use has quoted next week. We’re about 18 miles away and about 95% of what we sell is made in this building, which is what makes same-day a clock rather than a slogan.
Who orders banners in Elk Grove.
The businesses ordering banners in Elk Grove cluster into a few recognizable groups. Churches, nonprofits and neighborhood groups, schools, boosters and youth sport, retail and storefront business chief among them.
Elk Grove is a large, fast-growing suburban city, and its business life runs on a few spines: Laguna Boulevard's retail and office centers, Elk Grove Boulevard through Old Town with its storefronts and restaurants, and the Highway 99 frontage where the auto mall and larger commercial sites sit.
New businesses order the full startup kit. Sign, cards, banner.
Churches, nonprofits and neighborhood groups are heavy banner buyers because the message changes with the season and the budget rarely stretches to permanent signage.
School and booster banners (fundraisers, senior nights, field sponsors, registration drives) run on a calendar that repeats every year, so the artwork stays on file.
Storefront and promotional banners do the heavy lifting for retail here, because a banner large enough to read from the road costs less than most permanent signage and can be up the same afternoon.
What it costs.
Vinyl banners are posted at $6 per square foot, hemmed and grommeted: the finishing is in the price, not added afterwards.
Multiply width by height in feet: a 2×4 is $48, a 3×6 is $108, a 3×8 is $144, a 4×10 is $240.
What’s quoted separately rather than posted: installation, special finishing, and design time if we’re building the artwork from scratch instead of printing a file you already have. You’ll get those numbers before we start, never after. See the posted list.
The part worth knowing.
Size is the decision that costs people money, and it goes wrong in one direction: ordering a step down to save thirty dollars, then discovering the sign can’t be read from where people actually stand. Measure the space, then work backwards from reading distance. Roughly an inch of letter height per ten feet, more if the reader is moving.
Never staple a banner through the middle of the material: the first gust tears it from the staple. Tie through the grommets, and if it’s hanging from a pole rather than tied, ask for pole pockets instead. Different construction, same principle: attach to the finishing, not to the print.
Getting banners from Elk Grove.
Elk Grove is the longest of our regular runs, south down Highway 99, so plan the trip, or ask about delivery when you order.
Most banners ordered before 10:00 AM Monday to Friday are finished the same afternoon. If the drive is the awkward part rather than the deadline, ask about delivery when you place the order. It’s available on many jobs, though for a genuinely same-day deadline collecting at the counter is still fastest.
Questions we get from Elk Grove.
Can you print a banner from a photo I took?
Sometimes. It depends on resolution. Aim for around 300 dpi at the printed size; a phone photo often has enough for a modest banner and nowhere near enough for a 4×10. Send it and we’ll tell you honestly before it prints rather than after.
Do you do double-sided banners?
Yes, and they’re worth it when the banner hangs free where people pass on both sides. Against a wall or a fence, one side is all anyone will ever see.
How far is the shop from Elk Grove?
About 18 miles. We’re at 1835 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with parking in front and more in the rear.
Do Elk Grove customers pay a different rate?
No. One posted price list for everyone. Banners $6 per square foot, coroplast $9, vinyl lettering $7, PVC $11, aluminum composite $13.50, 500 business cards $58, shirts from $15. Where you drive from doesn’t change the number.
